Josephine C. Dick
Josephine C. Dick, 85, of Whiting, formerly of Kearny, entered into eternal rest on Monday, May 23.
The funeral service was held at the Mulligan Funeral Home, 331 Cleveland Ave, Harrison. Interment was in Holy Cross Cemetery, North Arlington.
Born in Newark, she lived in Kearny from 1967 to 1999, prior to moving to Whiting. Josephine worked as a clerk for Macy’s in Newark for 25 years before retiring in 1992.
Josephine is survived by her brother-in-law Joseph Petolino. She is also survived by 19 nieces and nephews and numerous great and great-great nieces and nephews.
She was predeceased by her parents Frederick Dick and Hortense (nee Germain) and her siblings Eleanor Torode, Mary Salmon, Julia Petolino, Agnes Daigle, Richard Dick and Edna Sheldon.

Dennis Clarence Warner
Dennis Clarence Warner, 64, beloved son of William V. Warner and Rosemarie Bruno, died in his sleep on May 25 in Las Vegas.
Dennis lived most of his life in the West Hudson area. He is a United States Marine Corps veteran and served overseas.
He is survived by his wife Christine (Forfa), his son Dennis Junior and daughter Rose Warner-Chavarria of Las Vegas, NV.
Dennis worked as a corrections officer in Hudson County Penitentiary, and N.J. State Prison in Rahway.  He spent most of his life working construction and retired in 2009.

Theodore J. “Ted” Matta
Theodore J. “Ted” Matta passed away on Monday, May 23.
A private service was held at Maxwell Funeral Home in Little Egg Harbor. Ted was laid to rest at Greenwood Cemetery in Tuckerton on Friday, May 27.
Ted lived in Harrison most of his life and up until recently resided in Little Egg Harbor with his wife and children. Ted is survived by his brother Paul and his wife Betty; brother Vincent and his wife Andrea; sister Susan Mariani; nieces and nephews Paul, Kimmy, Vincent, Chelsea and great-nephews Paulie and Michael. He is predeceased by his mother Hedwig and father Elias.
