Robert M. Kratt
Robert M. Kratt, 91, of Dunedin, Fla., formerly of Harrison and Verona, passed away on Saturday, May 21.
The funeral service was held at the Mulligan Funeral Home, 331 Cleveland Ave, Harrison, on Saturday, May 28. Interment followed at Arlington Cemetery, North Arlington. For information or to send condolences, please visit mulliganfuneralhome.org.
Robert worked at Worthington Pump, Harrison, for his career and prior to that, he served in the U.S. Army during World War II in the European, African, Middle Eastern and Asiatic-Pacific Theatres as a military policeman ranked technician 5th grade and was notably involved in the Battle of the Rhineland. He was an avid golfer. Robert is survived by his daughter Annette Dzwonczyk; his three granddaughters Christine Colvin, Theresa Dzwonczyk and Donna Krusznis and his two grandsons Paul and Andrew Dzwonczyk; he is also survived by eight great-grandchildren and his sister Flora MacLean.
He was predeceased by his wife Mary Evelyn (nee Golden) and his son Robert L. Kratt.
Margaret Gallacher
Margaret Gallacher went to her glory on May 26. She was a resident of Kearny for 28 years after arriving from Glasgow, Scotland, in 1952. She moved to Florida in 1985.
Surviving is her daughter Sandra and son-in-law Daniel Fee. She had a loving extended family of special sisters, cousins, nieces, nephews, great-nieces and nephews and a great-great niece with a new addition on the way. She had been blessed with great family and friends. Heaven has just received one more angel.
Anthony J. Luminiello
Anthony J. Luminiello, 86, a lifelong resident of Kearny, died on Tuesday, May 31.
He was the beloved husband of the late Maria Varlese Luminiello; dear brother of Dorothea Gloria Zita and loving uncle of Beverly Graczyk-Tapirdea, Susan Lynn Eckert, Jennifer Ann Voorhees, George Richard Zita and Robert Anthony Zita. He is also survived by many grandnieces and nephews and one great-grandnephew.
Luminiello was a World War II Navy veteran. He was past commander of the American Legion and a member of the Eagles and VFW, all of Kearny, and the Knights of Columbus in Clifton.
Funeral arrangements were by the Ippolito-Stellato Funeral Home, 425 Ridge Road, Lyndhurst. A funeral Mass was held at Sacred Heart Church, Lyndhurst. Interment was in Holy Cross Cemetery. Send condolences to stellatofuneralhomes.com.

Charles Francis Clifford Jr.
Charles Francis Clifford Jr., 61, of Kearny, passed away on Saturday, May 28.
Charles is the beloved brother of Dolores and dear friend of Sandra Roberts, Anthony Cain and Michelle Miller.
A graveside service was held on Wednesday, June 1, at Holy Cross Cemetery, North Arlington. Arrangements were by Mulligan Funeral Home, 331 Cleveland Ave., Harrison.
Jose Blancas
Jose Blancas died on May 31. He was 86.
Born in Peru, he lived in Kearny.
He is survived by his wife Savina and 12 children and their families. Arrangements were by the Wilfred Armitage and Wiggins Funeral Home, Kearny. A funeral Mass was held in St. Cecilia’s Church, Kearny. Burial was in Holy Cross Cemetery, North Arlington.
Mary Monaco
Mary Monaco (nee Zarro), of Newark, died on June 3 in Clara Maass Medical Center in Belleville.. She was 85.
Wife of the late Arthur J., she is survived by her children Arthur Monaco (Florence), Rosemary Guerriero (late Michael) and David Monaco (Janet) and her grandchildren A.J., Heather (Brian), Michael, Jason and Robert and her great-grandson Rider.
Arrangements were by at the Wilfred Armitage and Wiggins Funeral Home, 596 Belgrove Drive, Kearny. A funeral Mass was held in Our Lady of Good Council, Newark. Burial was in Mount Olivet Cemetery, Bloomfield.
