After almost six weeks, Bagel Bistro, Slice Restaurant Pizzeria and People’s Express Dry Cleaners at 41 River Rd., North Arlington, have all reopened for business.
During Hurricane Sandy, their building sustained more than 3 feet of water and then went three weeks with no power. Now, all the walls have been replaced at 4 feet high, and extensive cleaning and repairs of walls and equipment have been completed.
“We are better than ever,” said Gary Viccaro (Slice owner and building property manager). “It has been very difficult, but we have completed the work and are ready to get back to serving our loyal customers.”
