Mourners pay last respects to Alishia Colon, 16-year-old Kearny High School sophomore, as her casket is taken from the Thiele-Reid Family Funeral Home in Kearny. Police say Colon was fatally shot in her Belgrove Drive home Jan. 17. Authorities have charged Cruz Martinez Jr., 41, of Hazleton, Pa., with the crime and efforts are underway to extradite him to New Jersey for trial.
