Henry N. Broeder
Henry N. Broeder, of Milltown, entered into eternal rest on Wednesday, July 10, at Hackensack Medical Center. He was 77.

Born in Keansburg, Henry lived in Pittsburgh, Pa., and Kearny. He moved to Milltown in 1982 and has resided there ever since. He worked for Merrill-Lynch, N.Y., as a computer systems analyst for many years before retiring in 2005. Prior to that, he worked for Switch & Signal and AIG, also as a computer systems analyst.
Henry served his country in the U.S. Army from 1960 to 1962. He was a member and an Exalted Ruler of the Braddock, Pa. Elks # 883. He was also a member of the American Legion, Joyce Kilmer Post # 25, Milltown.
He is survived by his loving children Bev Zdrojkowski and her husband Thomas, of Pittsburgh, PA, and a son, Brian Broeder, his beloved companion Audrey Thompson, dear brother to Raymond Broeder and his wife Marie of California. He is also survived by 10 cherished grandchildren and was an uncle to many nieces and nephews.
He was predeceased by his wife Barbara (2004) and sisters Norma and Paula.

Eva Gionni
Eva Gionni (nee Masotas), 94, died July 9 at her home in North Arlington.
Born in Newark, she lived in Kearny before moving to North Arlington 11 years ago. She worked as a packer for the Wilkata Folding Box Company in Kearny for 39 years before retiring 22 years ago.
She enjoyed crocheting slippers and lovingly shared them with her family and friends.
She is the beloved wife of the late Frank “Frisco,” the cherished mother of Frank O. and his wife Marie, the adored grandmother of Frank and his wife Holly, Christopher and his wife Rosanna, the loving great grandmother of Matthew, and the dear aunt of many nieces and nephews.
The funeral was from the Parow Funeral Home, 185 Ridge Road, North Arlington, on Friday, July 12, with a funeral Mass in Our Lady of Sorrows Church, Kearny. Entombment followed in Holy Cross Chapel Mausoleum, North Arlington.

Maria Izabel Gomes
Maria Izabel Gomes died on July 11. She was 53.
Born in Brazil she lived in Kearny for 25 years.
She is survived by her mother Iricima, husband Eduardo, children Marcelli, Naline and Laiana, four sisters, three brothers and two grandchildren.
A funeral Mass was held on Monday in St. James Church in Newark. Private cremation followed.
Mary E. McConlouge
Mary E. McConlouge, 94, died July 3 at the Center for Hope Hospice Father Hudson House, Elizabeth.
Born in Newark, she lived in North Arlington before moving to Colonia two years ago. She was a member of the Interfaith Senior Citizens of North Arlington.
She served in the U.S. Navy during World War II and was an avid world traveler.
She worked as a secretary for the Congoleum Nairn Corporation in Kearny for many years before retiring 35 years ago. She was the cherished daughter of the late Harry and Kate McConlouge, the adored aunt of Mary Joan Millroy of New Jersey and Thomas Mc- Conlouge of Costa Rica. She is also survived by her many loving great and grandnieces and nephews.
The funeral was from the Parow Funeral Home, 185 Ridge Road, North Arlington, on Monday, July 8, with a funeral Mass in Our Lady Queen of Peace Church, North Arlington. Interment followed in Holy Cross Cemetery, North Arlington.

Charles G. Turro
Charles G. Turro died July 8 in the Linwood Care Center. He was 85.
Born in Harrison, he lived many years in Kearny before moving to Galloway 15 years ago.

Mr. Turro had retired from United Airlines where he was a storekeeper. He served in the Army from 1950 to 1952.
Husband of the late Dolly (nee Ray) he was the father of Charles Turro (Lea) and Mark Turro (Kelly), brother of Ceilia Rosamilia, James, Steven and Michael Turro, and brother-in-law of Dorothy Gonzalez. He is also survived by his grandchildren CJ (Nicole), Stephen, Leigh, Kayla and Michelle.
