The Lyndhurst Youth Performing Arts Association sponsors its second summer event with a free concert Thursday, July 23, 6:30 to 10 p.m., at Town Hall Park, featuring local youth players.
About 100 spectators came out for this season’s kickoff concert June 19 and will follow up this week’s performance with the second annual Woodstock Festival, co-sponsored by A&M Music and owner Alan Maisano, on Aug. 15.
The festival, also held in Town Hall Park, runs from noon to 7 p.m. Admission is free.
For the Woodstock concert, bands expected to play include Second Reaction, Tony Forte, The Catering Company, Steve Bello Band and Ripped, all interspersed with local youth performers.
