Coming in this week’s edition of The Observer, we’ll have a story about the retirement of Kearny crossing guard Betty Regan.
Regan retired after 26 1/2 years on the job.
Last Friday, friends and family held a special retirement ceremony at Regan’s corner of 25 years at Kearny Ave. and Halstead St. Our Jim Hague was at the ceremony — and he took these pictures for us.
Be sure to also see the story in the Feb. 3 edition of The Observer.
