Sights from today’s Way of the Cross at West Hudson Park [St. Cecilia’s]

KEARNY —

Here are some images from today’s “Way of the Cross,” which was nicely done by St. Cecilia’s Church. The large cast that made its way from the gazebo to the tennis court area at West Hudson Park acted the Stations of the Cross, a Good Friday staple in the Roman Catholic Church.

Be sure to check the March 30 edition of The Observer for more photos & full details and a recap of the highly emotional performance — and how the three separate communities at St. Cecilia’s — the Spanish-speaking population, the Portuguese-speaking and English-speaking parishioners came together to mark Good Friday.
