Kearny now has 20 confirmed lab cases of COVID-19 and two fatalities, the Health Department announced today.
Of the 20 cases, six are new, including the following five specifics:
— A 67-year-old man with pre-existing conditions currently being treated at Clara Maass Medical Center.
— A 56-year-old woman currently recovering at home.
— A 72-year-old woman currently being treated at Hackensack University Medical Center.
— A 57-year-old woman recovering at home. Her family is home quarantined with her.
— A 49-year-old woman currently being treated at Mountainside Hospital.
There are also four lab-confirmed cases of non-Kearny residents with a connection to the town.
The most recent fatality was a man, 75, who died at University Hospital, Newark.
