William Connolly
William Connolly died Aug. 5, 2020.
He was 83.
Private family arrangements were by the Armitage & Wiggins Funeral Home in Kearny.
William is survived by his beloved wife Elizabeth (nee Battaglino), son William J. Connolly and the late James Connolly. He was the cherished grandfather to Angela, Teresa, William, Vanessa and Jamie, and his great-granddaughter Audrey.
William retired from the Department of Sanitation in New York City where he worked for many years. He was a Sgt. First Class in the Army Reserves for 25 years. He was also a past president of the New York City Department of Sanitation Retiree Association.

Ruth C. Wilson
Ruth C. Wilson, (nee Perry), 73, died Sunday, Aug. 2, 2020, in Clara Maass Medical Center, Belleville.
Born in Kearny, Ruth was a life-long resident.
She is survived by her husband, Terry Wilson, two children, Wendi Sue Wilson and Scott George Wilson and one sister, Gail Batitto.
Mrs. Wilson was the grandmother of Holly Margaret Wilson and Dylan Thimas.
Private arrangements were under the direction of Thiele-Reid Family Funeral Home, Kearny.
