BCPO: Major crimes investigating deaths of 2 in North Arlington

The North Arlington Police Department and the Bergen County Prosecutor’s Office’s Major Crimes Unit are investigating the deaths of two individuals found inside an apartment at 21 Garden Terrace, North Arlington, the BCPO says.

The BCPO says on Wednesday, April 7, 2021, North Arlington police responded to the apartment at 5:40 p.m., after receiving a 911 call from a concerned neighbor asking for a welfare check on the residents. Officers forced entry into the apartment to find a a man and woman dead.

An investigation is being conducted by the Major Crimes Unit under the direction of Chief Robert Anzilotti and the North Arlington Police Department under the direction of Chief Scott Hedenberg, are conducting the investigation.
