The Kearny School District will resume the strategic planning process that began in the 2019-2020 school year, but was halted by the COVID-19 pandemic, at the end of the week, Superintendent of Schools Patricia Blood said.
In concert with New Jersey School Boards Association, the process will resume in a virtual format Friday and Saturday, Oct. 15 and 16. Any Kearny resident interested in participating in the event may send an email to Sharyne Blevins at sblevins@kearnyschools.com and she will provide the log in information for Friday evening’s meeting.
Prior to the pandemic, members of the Kearny School District, town officials and a diverse group of community members worked on two sub-committees to prepare documents related to the state of the town schools and the community.
