Thistle Storm headed to West Virginia for regional tournament, but they need your help to get there

The Kearny Thistle United Storm B2007 recently won the New Jersey Youth Soccer President’s State Cup and now they’re ready to move on to the US Youth Soccer East Region President’s Cup in West Virginia but to get there, they’re going to need your help.

“We believe the time is now for these young men to continue to etch their names in history and carry the lineage of soccer into the future for years to come,” Thistle organizers say. “We want to continue competition, camaraderie and community.”

Here’s where you come in.

The West Virginia tournament takes place June 17-21 and donations will be used to lodging and the ever-expensive gas it will take to travel. The Kearny Thistle United FC is a registered 501(c)3 non-profit so all donations are tax deductible.

Checks may be made to Kearny Thistle United and sent to 48 Madison Ave., Kearny, N.J. 07032. Those with Venmo may send donations @kearnythistleunited.
