New pickleball and tennis courts at Owens Field in Nutley have opened, Commissioner Mauro G. Tucci and the Department of Parks and Public Property announced. The addition of six new pickleball courts and reconstruction of two tennis courts have also been completed. The department is planning a grand opening at a later date.

Kevin A. Canessa Jr. is the editor of and broadcaster at The Observer, an organization he has served since 2006. Originally from Jersey City, Kevin lived in Kearny until 2004, lived in Port St. Lucie.
