Beginning at 8 p.m., Monday, Sept. 16 until 5 a.m., Tuesday, Sept. 17, the Route 7/Wittpenn Bridge is scheduled to have a series of 15-minute, temporary traffic stoppages in both directions. The temporary closures are necessary to lift the bridge to verify proper operation of the gates, barriers, and lift span machinery. If work is not completed tonight, there will be 15-minute, temporary traffic stoppages in both directions on Tuesday, Sept. 17 at the same time. This work is a continuation of testing that began last week.
